Sethurathnam Ravi(S Ravi Bse) founded Ravi Rajan & Co. Presently, Mr. Ravi holds the position of Non-Executive Chairman of Tourism Finance Corp. of India Ltd. and Director & Managing Partner at RRCA & Associates. Mr. Ravi is also Associate Member at Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Director & Managing Partner at Ravi Rajan & Co. and Member-MOU Department at India Department of Public Enterprises and on the board of 15 other companies.

In his past career he held the position of Chairman for BSE Ltd. and Union Finance & Revenue Secretary at India Ministry of Finance.Mr. Ravi received a graduate degree from Rani Durgavati University.

Sethurathnam Ravi (S Ravi Bse) is a chartered accountant (CA) based in India, promoter and managing partner of Ravi Rajan & Co and the former Chairman of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). He also serves as an Independent Director of Tourism Finance Corporation of India. Before joining BSE, Ravi served on boards of various companies such as, UTI Company Pvt Ltd., SMERA Ratings, SBI-SG Global Securities, STCI Finance, and BOI Merchant Bankers. He also serves as a member of SEBI’s takeover panel and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

BSE appoints S Ravi as its new chairman:

Eminent chartered accountant Sethurathnam Ravi has been appointed as the chairman of the leading stock exchange BSE.

Ravi, who was a public interest director at the BSE, replaces Dhirendra Swarup.

In a regulatory filing, BSE said that Sebi has “approved the appointment of Ravi, public interest director as the chairman of the board of directors of the company with effect from November 13, 2017”.He has experience of holding a number of positions on the board of banks, financial institutions and asset management companies in the financial sector. Presently, Ravi serves as a director on boards of various companies such as UTI Trustee Company, S Ravi Financial Management Services.

Shri Sethuratnam Ravi, a qualified practicing Chartered Accountant, having promoted two firms viz. M/s Ravi Rajan & Company and M/s RRCA & Associates, is an Information Systems Auditor (DISA) and an Insolvency Resolution Professional. He is the former Chairman of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Shri Ravi has also served on boards of various companies such as, SMERA Ratings, LIC Housing Finance Ltd., SBI-SG Global Securities, STCI Finance, BOI Merchant Bankers, etc. He serves as a member of SEBI’s takeover panel and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Shri Ravi is on the boards various companies like SBI Payments Services Pvt. Ltd, UTI Trustee Co. Pvt. Ltd., Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd., Star Union Dai-chi Life Insurance Co. Ltd., etc. He serves as an Independent Director of TFCI Ltd. and is the Chairman of the Board.
